… You’d think we’d be able to determine that, but we
can’t,” she said.
The private property, owned by and adjacent to the Blue
Diamond Almond plant,  “has
always had a lot of homeless and drug use,” said Abbott, who frequently
cycles along the parkway path that runs the length of the river. Abbott said he
was surprised when told Sacramento police said that their search didn’t locate
Molina’s clothing.
“There’s always clothing along this part of the
river,” he said.
Von Schoech acknowledged that the unincorporated Auburn
Boulevard-Watt Avenue corridor, an area Molina was said to frequent, is an area
“known for prostitution,” but Von Schoech quickly added that his
department found “absolutely nothing to indicate to us that Molina was
involved in prostitution,” including a lack of any criminal history or
vice officers recognizing Molina.

She was one of five detectives and deputies Thursday night posing as prostitutes on Watt Avenue so Sacramento County sheriff’s personnel could arrest the “johns” — men who pay prostitutes for sex. By midnight, they’d arrested about 16 men and one prostitute.

May 16, 2008 North Highlands prostitution sting yields 19 arrests By Ryan Lillis: Sacramento sheriff’s deputies arrested 12 johns and seven prostitutes during a sting operation Thursday night in North Highlands, officials said. The operation was in response to ongoing quality-of-life complaints along Watt Avenue, between Interstate 80 and Myrtle Avenue, said sheriff’s Sgt. Tim Curran. Officers from the department’s Northwest Division Problem Oriented Policing team and the Special Intelligence Investigations Bureau conducted the sting, Curran said. Not surprisingly, Phillip Reese’s “Few men accused of being “johns” ‘ story in today’s Bee sparked a lively debate among readers online. Here are two viewpoints about the world’s oldest profession:
‘It’s time to make it legal. Tax it, and require certain employment standards. As with illegal drugs, most of the problems with prostitution arise because it is illegal, not because of the act itself.’
Prostitution in the US is not the cutsey “Pretty Woman” kind of scenario. It involves other crimes. If this prostitution was legalized, in the same way it is in Holland, it might be a victimless crime. There would be controls that would prevent the peripheral crimes from happening. Until that happens the johns are just as much to blame for the problem and should be held accountable.’

Sacramento Adult Entertainment: North Korea to put US journalists on trial Thursday

Filed under: Sacramento adult entertainment — mrparty @ 5:01 pm and

… The trial depends on how useful the North Korean regime feels they are for political purposes,” says Ha Tae-keung, president of Open Radio for North Korea, which broadcasts from Seoul, South Korea, for two hours daily into North Korea.
However North Korean strategists see it, one outcome of the trial is certain. No one imagines anything other than a guilty verdict for both of them, accused of “hostile acts” and “illegal entry” as they sought to do a story on human rights abuses. The two journalists work for Al Gore’s Current TV network.
The focal point of their mission was to interview female defectors, often forced into marriages and prostitution in China, and they were believed to be hoping to film defectors as they crossed the ice on the narrow, shallow river in harsh winter weather.

Sacramento Adult Entertainment: California Governor Schwarzenegger Highlights State’s Anti-Gang …

Filed under: Sacramento adult entertainment — mrparty @ 5:01 pm and

Last year was the first distribution of $9.2 million in grant funding to cities and community-based organizations for gang prevention, intervention and enforcement, and $7.3 million was distributed in job training grants.
The CalGRIP strategy targeted approximately $31 million in state and federal funding last year and will direct $34.7 million this year toward local anti-gang efforts, including intervention, suppression and prevention. This includes $7 million to enhance CHP’s support of local law enforcement, and an almost doubling in funding for witness protection to a total of $5.2 million.
Governor Schwarzenegger introduced the CalGRIP initiative in May of 2007 to confront the dramatic increase in gangs across the state and their proliferation in suburban and rural areas. Gangs are responsible for crimes including murder, witness intimidation, money laundering, extortion, narcotic production and sales, prostitution, human trafficking, theft and counterfeiting. In spite of an overall decrease in crime in most California cities since the 1990s, rates of gang-related violent crime remain steady.

Yep, he’s back, pimping a new book about his experience with Michael Myers until he comes face to face with the killer one more time. Below is a new photo of McDowell with actress Mary Birdsong who plays his publicist Nancy. Birdsong recently popped up in Adventureland and was a regular on Reno 911! She’s also pretty damn cute in shorts.

Sacramento Adult Entertainment: THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE INTERVIEW WITH SASHA GREY

Filed under: Sacramento adult entertainment — mrparty @ 5:01 pm and

Sasha: Right now, I want to do both. I think its unprecedented that a woman from the adult industry has been able to really juggle both at the same time, and play a non-eponymous character, in more than just one film. I think the climate is right, and I think that, if people enjoy what I do outside of adult films, there is room for growth and opportunity. Im locked to shoot a film in August, where I have the lead role and I dont play a sex worker. I also have two other scripts I was just offered. Theyre not in pre-production yet, but theyre looking for casting. Theyre in the very, very beginning stages. Again, theyre both very challenging, different roles, which Im really excited about. Thats the next obvious, evolutional step.

Police: Man suspected of pimping 3 women, 2 underage
Posted by Nathan Donato-Weinstein | nathand@goldcountrymedia.com
A 24-year-old Sacramento man was arrested early Monday for allegedly trying to prostitute three teenage females – including two underage girls – out of a vehicle in Roseville.
Police said an officer stopped Keon Jamar Nunelly at about 2:30 a.m. after observing a faulty tail light while traveling north on Sunrise Avenue.
On further investigation, the officer suspected that the driver had been taking the females – ages 18, 17 and 15 — around for the purposes of prostitution, said police Spokeswoman Dee Dee Gunther.
That wasn’t all. The officer also discovered that the driver was wanted by the Department of Corrections for parole violation. Another male passenger in the car had no-bail warrants out of Sacramento, the officer found.
Nunnelly was arrested on charges of pimping, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, possession of marijuana and parole violation, police said.

Michael Boyd told a Sacramento Superior Court jury that he and Reiter had gone down to Valley Lark Drive in search of “strippers” after a night of drinking and snorting cocaine.
He said they were seated in his Jeep just before 5 a.m. on March 24, 2007, when they saw a car pull up behind them. He testified that Reiter got out of the Jeep to talk to the people who drove up to arrange the meeting between the strippers and the two men.
Then, Boyd testified, somebody snatched the keys out of the ignition of his car, just seconds before the shooting.

He testified that Reiter, 36, had met Walker earlier in the evening, outside the Club Fantasy strip club on Richards Boulevard, which Boyd said that he and the victim had frequented.
