Sacramento Escorts: Massage Therapists OK with new regulation

… Cities regulate massage therapists to stop prostitution, so whenever a regulation is proposed we immediately worry. We always feel like we are being punished,” Frueh said.
Wilts said in his 35 years on the Woodland Police Department, he’s only had one massage establishment with a complaint in regards to prostitution. Wilts said it’s tricky getting a cop undercover.
If the masseuse initially touches the genitals and the client protests then the masseuse claims it was an accident and ceases. If the client doesn’t protest then the illegal services commence, Wilts said.
Under the new ordinance, if the masseuse touches genitalia and it’s reported, he or she will no longer be able to practice massage.

Frueh said, “Because 60 years ago prostitutes called their business massage, we’re still paying for it. But Woodland handled it very well.”

Sacramento Adult Entertainment: ‘Walkaway’ properties quickly deteriorate, dragging down borrowers …

… We do the cost-benefit analysis (for) the investor,” said Jeannine Bruin, GMAC’s executive director of mortgage communication. “Is he going to recoup any money for us to go through the whole process of foreclosing, fixing the property up, marketing it, selling it? Is anything coming back to that investor? If not, it’s best to just let the borrower keep ownership of the home.”
But by then, the borrower may think he or she has lost the title and has left.
In that scenario, the neighborhoods and taxpayers may lose, say city officials and neighborhood activists.
“The debtor is gone, the lender is gone and here, Mr. Mayor, you’ve got this attractive nuisance in your neighborhood,” Barrett said. “Then I get a call from my fire department, and they’re telling me we’ve got too many homes that are attractive nuisances, as they say, for arson or prostitution or drug trafficking. The current situation is a lose, lose, lose situation.”

Man gets life in circulation manager slaying
Associated Press – July 10, 2009 11:44 AM ET
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) – A 22-year-old man convicted of gunning down a newspaper circulation manager in Sacramento during a robbery attempt has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Sacramento Superior Court Judge Lloyd G. Connelly told Rashard Delrico Mack on Thursday that his conduct was “reprehensible and foolish” in the shooting death of 36-year-old Jesse Reiter.
Reiter was the circulation manager at the Davis Enterprise newspaper when he was killed in 2007. Prosecutors said Reiter and a friend had been drinking at bars and a strip club when a man lured them into a robbery setup.
Jurors found Mack shot and killed Reiter when he tried to resist the robbery.
Mack’s co-defendant, Ulysses Peter Walker, is set to be retried in August after another jury deadlocked.

Officers’ Lawsuit Cites Story Of Alleged Prostitutes

FOLSOM, Calif. — Two Folsom police officers who sued the city claim they were wrongfully interrogated and were asked about exchanging sexual favors with two alleged prostitutes in Chico, who in turn were not arrested.

The claim against the city states that Sgt. Rick Hillman asked Siegler a series of questions, including “Have you had any contact with any women from Chico?,” and “Arrested any women from Chico for prostitution?”
According to the lawsuit, Hillman asked the questions after he heard that the Special Enforcement Neighborhood Enhancement Team “went to Chico and conducted a prostitution sting that got out of control and concluded with the members exchanging sexual favors to let the college student prostitutes go without arrest, despite evidence that a crime had occurred. The college girl prostitutes then were allegedly arrested the following night by the local police department and asked to exchange sex for release, as they did with the Folsom police.”

Sacramento Adult Entertainment: Hey, man, like tax me, like a lot, like now

Filed under: Sacramento adult entertainment — mrparty @ 9:01 am and

They could turn the Assembly chambers into a studio for a free-for-all TV show. Can you imagine the ratings you’d get having Jerry Springer replace Karen Bass and have the Republicans and Democrats go at it mano-mano while every special interest group that has been picketing the capitol in the last few weeks can share the stage with them yelling and screaming epitaphs at how the legislators are:
•a) killing them?
•b) dooming every kid in California to become dumb?
•c) taking the state back to the Ice Age?
Even if there aren’t a lot of advertisers willing to pay big bucks for commercials, at least taxpayers will get some entertainment from watching legislators being humiliated. At least we’ll get something for our pain and suffering.
Since the Senate chamber has more decorum, it’s the perfect setting for a taping of the Dr. Phil Show.  Can you image the wealth of material that Dr. Phil would have to do shows on? The Senate is filled with ego-maniacs, political prostitutes, cut-throat maniacs, intellectual lightweights, wheeler dealers, and liars.

Sacramento Adult Entertainment: Capitol Hell: Worst states to govern

Filed under: Sacramento adult entertainment — mrparty @ 1:01 am and

In recent weeks, the state Senate has been the scene of political mayhem caused by the sudden defection of two Democratic lawmakers who threw control of the chamber to the GOP. One of the party-switching legislators has since returned to the Democratic fold, but that has left the Senate evenly divided — a recipe for gridlock. Paterson has been trying to force both sides into an extraordinary session, even asking the state Supreme Court to intervene. But so far, the senators have come no closer to settling their differences.
Paterson hasn’t done much to help himself. Shortly after taking over for Democratic Gov. Eliot Spitzer, who became embroiled in a prostitution scandal, Paterson publicly admitted to his own extramarital affair. He was also criticized for his clumsy handling of the process to appoint a replacement for Hillary Clinton in the United States Senate. He chose a little-known upstate congresswoman, Kirsten Gillibrand, to fill the seat, after a tumultuous period of public sniping with Caroline Kennedy, who also sought the position.

Sacramento Strip Clubs: Man gets life in Sacramento robbery-murder

… Your senseless act of murder shattered all of us and left a gaping hole in our lives forever,” Reiter’s mother, Mary Carol Reiter, said during the Sacramento Superior Court sentencing in front of Judge Lloyd G. Connelly.
A second defendant in the case is awaiting a retrial. A separate jury in April could not reach a verdict in the case against Mack’s co-defendant, Ulysses Peter Walker, 21, and Judge Connelly declared a mistrial. Jurors had voted 11-1 to convict Walker. His retrial is set for Aug. 21.
Reiter, 36, was shot and killed around 5 a.m. on March 24, 2007. Reiter and a friend had started drinking in bars in Woodland, then went to a Richards Boulevard strip club in Sacramento and then ventured into the South Sacramento area in pursuit of strippers.
