Sacramento Escorts: Defending Against the Sexual Assault

Filed under: Sacramento escorts — escortingsacramento @ 5:01 pm and

Having just moved to Sacramento in August, I always keep my guard up in an area where I don’t know many people or my surroundings. Once while parking my car in my apartment carport, my girlfriend noticed a man standing next to the nearby dumpster. We made sure to stay out of his range of vision and quietly walk out of the carport. Another instance of caution is when I noticed a cup and a chair by the aforementioned carport and fresh graffiti on a nearby wall.
In the university setting at CSUS, there are escort services and usually a room of fellow students you just walked out of the classroom for people who walk around at night. Staying in a group is a good way to let an offender know that trying something wrong is a bad idea.

Timothy Balcom, Mowry’s attorney, said Wednesday none of the charges have been dismissed and no new charges have been added since the last court date.
Balcom said he doesn’t expect any new developments Thursday, because he plans to have an attorney standing in for him while he attends another court appointment in Sacramento.
Kyle Mowry, Chad Mowry’s brother, declined to comment about the case when the Journal contacted him Wednesday.
Kyle Mowry said he hadn’t spoken to his brother.
According to Detective Adam Cline, a second man, Anthony Fletcher, 25, of Rocklin, was arrested the same day as Chad Mowry for possession of drugs, but he is not involved in the extortion case.
Cline said Wednesday Chad Mowry was a friend of Fletcher’s. Fletcher was a friend of an Auburn woman who was involved with male strippers.

Sacramento Strip Clubs: Ripon Man Accused of Embezzling, Spending The Money On Strippers

Filed under: Sacramento strip clubs — porsche @ 7:48 am and

San Joaquin County investigators have charged 27-year-old Orlando Flores of Ripon with grand theft and embezzlement after they say he stole nearly $150,000 from the company he worked for and spent it on strippers.
Prosecutors allege Flores had been swiping money from his job driving armored trucks for Garda Cash Logistics in Modesto since 2009 and taking it out 20 dollars at a time to drop at Deja Vu Showgirls in Stockton.
Patrons at Centerfolds in Rancho Cordova say it’s not unusual to drop a lot of cash on lap dances, “You know, I’ve never really gone past 150 dollars, but I do have friends that spend thousands, so it just really depends,” said strip club patron James.
A dancer at Centerfolds, though, who called herself Lola, said she’s made as much as $25,000 a night, from one grateful patron. “Believe it or not you don’t have to do a lap dance, it’s a tip. They just give it you and you say thank you very much,” Lola said.

Man allegedly spent stolen money on strippers in Stockton
STOCKTON – A Ripon man has been charged with embezzling $148,860, which prosecutors say he spent on strippers at Stockton’s Déjà Vu Showgirls.
Orlando Calderon Flores, 27, was a longtime employee of Garda Cash Logistics, an armored car company based in Modesto. Flores serviced ATMs, San Joaquin County Deputy District Attorney Stephen Taylor said.
Taylor said company officials learned that Flores was taking money from a Chase Bank cash machine on Stockton’s Pacific Avenue between Aug. 1, 2009, and July 13. His employer confronted and terminated him on Aug. 25, Taylor said.
Flores faces a single count of felony grand theft, according to a criminal complaint on file at San Joaquin County Superior Court.
Taylor said he believes that Flores spend all of the money – $20 at a time, amounting to $28,000 a month – at the strip club.

Sacramento Adult Entertainment: Fifth sexual assault reported

Filed under: Sacramento adult entertainment — mrparty @ 4:37 am and

The student was walking to her car on Nov. 15 when an unknown man touched her chest through her clothing, said Sac State police spokesman Det. Scott Christian.
The victim responded by spraying the man in the face with pepper spray, Christian said. The assailant got away, and police are investigating, Christian said.
For unknown reasons, the victim waited until Monday to report the crime to police, Christian said.   It was the third sexual battery this semester, and there have been two sexual assaults.
A sexual battery would be the touching of an intimate body part through clothes,” Christian said.
Police have responded to the crimes by increasing patrols and expanding their night escort service. The department is also improving the way it sends out alert bulletins advising students of crimes, Christian said.

Students hear story of a life transformed
STOCKTON – As a young man, Daniel Mora visualized his future: it included serving prison time, running the streets, getting married and drinking beer.
Then, he didn’t reach beyond those goals, because in his neighborhood, “no one went to college.”
In his neighborhood, drugs, gang violence and prostitution were common. At home, he witnessed his father beat his mother in a drunken rage.
It was the kindness and attention of one man who helped him break away from a troubled path and even graduate from the University of California, Berkeley.
Mora, 25, talked about his experiences this week with about 200 students at San Joaquin Delta College’s Tillie Lewis Theatre.
Mora offered himself as an example of what can be accomplished if you steer away from negative influences.

Sacramento Escorts: ‘Owl’ flies us back to the ’60s

Poor Matt K. Miller. STC’s artistic director thought he was going to be directing a Pulitzer Prize-winning drama — “Talley’s Folly” — as the second show in the “Classics” season. But the company lost the rights to that play and instead he’s found himself at the helm of this dated comedy.
That the production is as good as it is is a tribute to Miller and his cast and crew. Actors Orr and Kail work hard to make the characters likable — and succeed surprisingly frequently, given playwright Bill Manhoff’s script. “I’m a prostitute; I’m not promiscuous” and “Stop running away from your mind. It won’t bite you” are examples of the Neil Simon-but-not- quite quality of the dialogue. There are a couple of genuine surprises and good laughs during the show, although flailing arms and awkward poses indicate both actors might be a little ill at ease with the material.

Local pimp known as “Sir Lewis” is sentenced more than 30 years for sex trafficking

The woman shed light on the sex trafficking underworld, filled with pimps and prostitutes. She described the “rules” adhered to by pimps and prostitutes, and how every penny she and other victim earned was taken and kept by Davis.
Davis’ behavior led investigators to believe he was “fully engaged in the world of pimps and prostitutes,” Moreno’s office said.

The Innocence Lost national initiative specifically addresses the growing problem of domestic sex trafficking of children in the U.S. It was launched In June 2003 by the FBI, Department of Justice Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. To date, the initiative has led to the rescue of more than 1,200 children and the conviction of more than 600 pimps, madams and their prostitution associates.

Sacramento Adult Entertainment: California sex offender sweep nets hundreds of arrests

Filed under: Sacramento adult entertainment — mrparty @ 4:36 am and

Other parolees had an automatic arrest because of they either failed to charge their GPS monitor or going places not allowed.
Officials said the excuses all sound the same.
“It never went dead, I always charge it,” said an offender arrested in Hotel Marshall. “I was in my room the whole day and I charged it.”
GPS data sent to agents showed the unit was powered off for six hours.
The most common excuse, agents said, comes after a parolee is caught with pornography. Shuman said they either say it’s not theirs or didn’t know it was there. Either way, parole conditions prohibit having direct access to the content.
“They know they’re not supposed to do it. Why they continue to do it we have no idea,” said Shuman.
Andre Summer, a 31-year-old parolee was arrested when agents found prostitution ads on the computer in his apartment.
