Filed under: Sacramento adult entertainment — mrparty @ 4:36 pm and

ROCKLIN, Calif., – On Wednesday, February 16, William Jessup University’s Public Policy Department in partnership with Campus Ministries and the WJU Justice Coalition will be hosting the 5th Annual International Justice Day at WJU.
The day of events is dedicated to raising awareness and support to combat global injustices including human trafficking, child labor, and sexual exploitation.
The day begins with a special chapel service at 9:30 a.m. featuring Don Brewster, Executive Director of Agape International Mission (AIM). AIM provides transformational aftercare for victims rescued from sex trafficking and provides prevention efforts through a network of village churches. AIM opened Agape Restoration Center (ARC) in August of 2006 providing holistic long-term aftercare for rescued girls, and in September 2007, opened a community center known as Rahabs House, in a former brothel in the heart of a village where sex slavery is the norm for every girl by the age of ten.

Sacramento Escorts: Pittsburg police using special team to combat crime as it happens

Filed under: Sacramento escorts — escortingsacramento @ 3:48 am and

PITTSBURG — As the black-and-white patrol car slowly winds through the El Pueblo neighborhood, police Sgt. Phil Galer sees a man casually walking down the sidewalk. There is nothing unusual about him at first sight.
Seeing the man’s head lowered, Galer slows the car.
“Watch; I bet he’ll bolt,” he says.
Galer stops the car next to the man, who takes a bounce step, turns around, and sprints away. Galer jumps out of the car and gives chase, but the man disappears down a path.
Why did he run?
“He’s got a pocketful of dope or a pistol,” he said. “That’s why they run.”
Galer is head of his department’s Street Crime Unit. Rather than respond to reports of crimes that have already happened, such as burglaries, the unit patrols Pittsburg looking for crimes in progress — mainly gang activity, drug dealing and prostitution. The department refers to it as “proactive policing.”

Filed under: Sacramento adult entertainment — mrparty @ 10:36 pm and

The following information is from Alameda County D.A. Nancy O’Malley. It’s in regards to the story we posted about the Clayton man who was arrested after a human trafficking & brothel investigation by…
Alameda County District Attorney Nancy E. O’Malley announces a successful major multi-agency operation to put an end to a large-scale prostitution ring operating throughout the Bay Area.

This operation is the culmination of a year-long investigation by HPD uncovering a sophisticated ring of brothels where scores of immigrant Asian women were exploited to further the ring’s lucrative enterprise. The investigation began when an HPD patrol officer looked into neighborhood complaints of suspected prostitution in a local residence. Attentive HPD officers eventually uncovered evidence supporting the claim. An in-depth undercover investigation ensued, establishing that the home in question was a clandestine brothel and part of a larger ring of similar brothels.

Sacramento Adult Entertainment: School health centers expand despite lack of state funding

Filed under: Sacramento adult entertainment — mrparty @ 10:36 pm and

As Oakland and Los Angeles expand, some communities have resisted school health centers, fearing they will provide birth control and abortion advice without parental permission. Under California law, these are classified as “sensitive services.” [PDF] Health care providers, whether on or off school campuses, are barred from sharing information with parents about the care their children may have received, at least not without their permission.
Harrison, the Marshall High principal, said parents at Huntington Park High, where he previously taught, were mostly recent immigrants who opposed the idea of providing condoms and other reproductive health services to students. As a result, that school has no clinic.
Community resistance, however, has not been a problem in most urban areas. At Marshall High, many students come from rougher neighborhoods in East Hollywood, with a heavy dose of medical marijuana storefronts and billboards advertising their wares, neighborhood bars, and prostitution. For parents and students alike, Harrison said the need for the services its health center provides is self-evident. “It is in your face,” he said. “No one would say ‘stay away from the clinic because it could teach your kid something too soon.’ ”

Retired Lodi teacher pleads no contest to prostitution charges
By PATRICIA SIMMS | Wisconsin State Journal lacrossetribune.com | Posted: Friday, January 7, 2011 7:00 am
A longtime teacher in Lodi, Wis., who retired in June has been found guilty of soliciting sex at a Columbia County rest area in July.
Gerald R. Hilliker, 73, who taught middle school social studies for 48 years, pleaded no contest Dec. 30 to a misdemeanor charge of prostitution. Columbia County Circuit Judge Alan fined him $505. A second prostitution charge was dismissed.
According to the complaint, a state trooper was at a rest stop on Hwy. 33 in the Columbia County town of Caledonia when he saw someone throw a piece of paper out of a passenger window toward a semitrailer.
The trooper parked his car and picked up the paper, which read “I want you(r) socks and underwear!!!” The paper also outlined sexual acts.

Sacramento Strip Clubs: Stripping Away Stereotypes, Knitting a Friendship

Filed under: Sacramento strip clubs — porsche @ 9:00 pm and

SACRAMENTO, CA (January 5, 2011) – The bouncers at the strip club looked with suspicion at the five women who wanted to come inside to deliver gift bags to the dancers.
“We won the bouncers over immediately,” says Ruthann Dittrich, a member of River Life Covenant Church. It helped that the women had gift bags for the bouncers too. “They opened their own bag and started to inhale the fresh cookies inside,” Dittrich says. Still undecided, the bouncers sent for the manager.
The women, who had decided they wanted to minister to the “unreached people group,” waited nervously with their gift bags of cookies, scarves, and other presents.

About the same time, Dittrich and some friends from other churches were sensing a call to minister to the employees at the strip club. They asked if King’s group would donate scarves for the dancers.

Sacramento Escorts: A year of highs, lows and going underground

A bulldozer, with dirt at the ready, was used so the city council members could ceremoniously turn dirt on the massive $8.5 million streetscape.
That was just the beginning. Within months, the street’s characteristic median was gone, as were the shed roofs, asphalt and sidewalks.
Some cried, some complained and some just accepted the change. But, what a change it was.
In April, the Telegraph was the first media organization allowed into the tunnel re-discovered underneath Sutter Street, thanks to the redevelopment happening above ground. While some knew of the tunnel’s existence, few had ever explored it. Access isn’t available to the public.
Archaeologists believe the tunnel was used for nothing more than drainage while tales of bootleggers, prostitutes and other shenanigans cloak those tunnels in mystery. Our story also spurred the TV guys to get in on the act, some of them reporting from above ground, unable to gain access.

Sacramento Strip Clubs: An election as only Californians could do it

Filed under: Sacramento strip clubs — porsche @ 12:36 pm and

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Monday, Jerry Brown took the oath of office and became governor of California, ending the reign of Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger.

The timing couldn’t be better for David Prybil, whose novel “Golden State” (iUniverse, $21.95, 368 pages) is set in the fall of 2003, when Schwarzenegger – along with a host of others – announced his candidacy for governor.

If a movie actor and former bodybuilder can capture the state’s top office, then anything must be possible. That’s the premise of “Golden State,” which follows four disparate characters who are so inspired by Schwarzenegger’s can-do attitude that they go for their own personal gold.

One of those characters is Spencer Brine, “a depressed obituarist (at The Sacramento Bee) whose star-crossed love for a local stripper provides him the inspiration for an unlikely rise through the paper’s ranks.” Brine works in a basement office.

When staff writer Bob Davila – who writes obituaries for The Bee in the main newsroom – read this descriptio …
