According to police reports, Cesar Salmeron, 28, and Jasiel Salmeron, 25, had earlier been at the motel in a dispute with two ladies of the night who allegedly stole their iPhones (presumably for non-payment). The men later returned to the motel, hoping to confront the women. To show they meant business, one of the Salmerons fired a single round through the motel room’s door. What the slighted men didn’t expect was for the room’s new occupant to also be packing heat. Which he was. And proved by firing back, striking one of the Salmerons.

Limbaugh launches ‘Rush Babes for America’
Rush Limbaugh has launched a new Facebook group called ‘Rush Babes for America’ in an effort to fight back against the National Organization for Women’s campaign to have his talk radio show removed from the airwaves.
Limbaugh referred to Georgetown law student, Sandra Fluke, as a ’slut’ and a ‘prostitute‘ and afterwards there was a huge public outcry from the left for advertisers to pull their funding. The comments by Limbaugh were made after Fluke’s testimony in Washington that birth control should be covered by health insurance companies. He later apologized in a statement on his website.

According to the indictment, Bradford recruited a 15-year-old girl to travel from Fresno to Sacramento, where she was used by Bradford as part of his prostitution business from January 19 through February 5, 2012. According to court documents, Bradford maintained an apartment in Rancho Cordova that he used as a base of operations for a prostitution business that spanned the Sacramento and Bay Areas, as well as several cities outside California. At least two of Bradford’s victims were under the age of 18. Bradford fled from Sacramento to the Chicago area after law enforcement recovered the 15-year-old victim.
This case is the product of an investigation by the FBI’s Sacramento Crimes Against Children Task Force, which received the case after the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office located and recovered the 15-year-old victim. The Task Force brings together state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies in the Sacramento area to investigate the trafficking of juvenile victims of prostitution. Assistant United States Attorney Matthew G. Morris is prosecuting the case.

PITTSBURG — Two men were sentenced to several years in state prison Friday for pimping underage runaway girls out of a San Ramon condo to men throughout the Bay Area.
Duwan Fields, 33, of San Ramon, the ringleader of the operation, was sentenced to eight years and four months in prison. He was found guilty last month of two counts of pimping a minor prostitute and one count of unlawful sex with a 16-year-old.
Claudiens Griffin, 21, of Sacramento, was sentenced to three years and eight months after being found guilty of pimping a minor prostitute, pandering for prostitution, rape and lewd acts on a 13-year-old.

The girl once jailed in juvenile hall for nearly a month to guarantee her testimony against Frank Rackley, admitted on the stand today that key portions of her initial story were a lie.
The girl initially told investigators she was kidnapped by Rackley while waiting for a Sacramento light rail train.
Today she admitted she was actually prostituting on that night last July when she got into Rackley’s truck.
However, the girl says that’s where it started to go wrong, and despite repeated appeals for Rackley to stop, the teen testified he raped her before she was able to escape his truck.
She says she never gave Rackley consent to have sex with her.
But the defense chipped away at the girl’s story, questioning whether she lied about rape because she was afraid she’d get in trouble for prostitution.

Singh sentenced to nine years for conspiring to commit sex trafficking
OAKLAND, Calif. —
A Sacramento man has been sentenced in federal court in Oakland to nine years in prison for conspiring to commit sex trafficking, U.S. Attorney Melinda Haag announced Thursday.
Mahendar Singh, 40, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Phyllis Hamilton on Wednesday.
Singh and his wife, Helen Kearney Singh, 22, both pleaded guilty in January to a charge of conspiring to cause children under 18 to engage in commercial sex acts by means of force, fraud or coercion.
A sentencing date for Helen Singh has not yet been set.
Haag said Mahendar Singh admitted during his plea that he and his wife conspired to operate a prostitution enterprise in Sacramento County and several Bay Area counties between the spring of 2011 and August 2011.
