But the investigation ended peacefully when the man emerged from his Oak Street apartment three hours later with a different girlfriend, police said.
Everyone denied the existence of a gun, and the first girlfriend was not inside the apartment, police said. No arrests were made.

The Task Force brings together state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies in the Sacramento area to investigate the trafficking of juvenile victims of prostitution. Assistant United States Attorney Matthew G. Morris is prosecuting the case.

PITTSBURG — Two men were sentenced to several years in state prison Friday for pimping underage runaway girls out of a San Ramon condo to men throughout the Bay Area.
Duwan Fields, 33, of San Ramon, the ringleader of the operation, was sentenced to eight years and four months in prison. He was found guilty last month of two counts of pimping a minor prostitute and one count of unlawful sex with a 16-year-old.
Claudiens Griffin, 21, of Sacramento, was sentenced to three years and eight months after being found guilty of pimping a minor prostitute, pandering for prostitution, rape and lewd acts on a 13-year-old.
