Around 8:00 Monday morning, investigators began arriving again at the home of Phillip and Nancy Garrido. Phillip is accused of kidnapping Jaycee Dugard 18 years ago.
Officers with the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department, as well as Antioch and Pittsburg police, are carefully examining the backyard where Dugard was held captive in tents and sheds. On Sunday, officers used cadaver dogs to search the next door neighbor’s property. Police say Garrido stayed in the house for awhile and they were looking for human remains that could connect him to three unsolved murder cases.
